The book A Good Girls Guide To Murder by Holly Jackson is a thrilling and eventful book. It is filled with many twists and turns. Pip, a seventeen-year-old girl in high school goes out to figure out who really killed the small-town sweetheart years before. Along the way she learns things she hasn’t known before, revealing secrets to the small town she lives in. She also finds herself hiding secrets from the ones she loves. Will the secrets affect her relationships? Will they create havoc for her friends and family? This book will have you on the edge of your seat, wondering what will happen next.

As you read, you See Pip walk into dangerous territory and go through obstacles. She learns that being a detective isn’t easy, but her passion for mystery fuels her as she continues on with her investigations. Pip looks back on dates and times, looking at people from the high school sweethearts past. Digging up things she was surprised to find, she learned things from the people closest to her as well. You solve the mystery with Pip as you read. That’s what I like about the book the most because it makes you think. Then something happens and you’re like; Wait really?

In this book, your mind will bounce between different scenarios on what will happen next—finding different obstacles along the way. This book will definitely give you thoughts on what and how as you read it. It’s the type of book that will make you want to read it in one sitting, trust me that’s what I did! The book's title doesn’t give it justice until you flip through it. Don’t let it fool you! Personally, I didn’t think it was a book on solving a mystery until I flipped through the pages. This is why most would say “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” We’re all human though right? I would give this book a 10 out of 10 if you really like murder mysteries with adventure. When you read it, you definitely will be surprised at the ending! Unfortunately, I cannot give out any more details, as it will spoil the book! You will just have to read it yourself.

The second book (Good Girl Gone Bad) Is a follow-up on what happened in the last book (A Good Girls Guide to Murder) And it continues on with another storyline as well. I would say that so far Holly Jackson is one of my favorite authors by far.
